Pop up Card - Woodpecker
In the paper craft session conducted by Arun Desai, we also learnt about Pop up cards.
This one is a woodpecker happily pecking!
When the card is closed, the woodpecker moves away from the center of the card.
And when the card is opened, the woodpecker pecks at the center of the card.
A heavy paper for the base of the card helps in generating the perfect pecking sound too. :)

Pretty Ballerinas
In the paper craft session conducted by Arun Desai, we also learnt about Paper Sculpture.
A simple 2D paper can be converted to a 3D model using simple folds. Awesome! :)
Note: As in a ballet performance, the paper sculpture of ballerinas are also standing on the paper only on their toes - no glue and no additional support.

Itsy Bitsy - a very famous craft store in the city opened their new branch. On the opening day, they had scheduled demos for many craft styles.
We went late but were lucky enough to attend few of them - scrapbook page making, paper craft, mini photo frame.

3 Leaves

Love Birds ;)
Attempted to create love birds happily perched in their love nest.
Created three versions of the same design experimenting with the structure of the tree, birds or adding quilled hearts in "Love".
Finally gifted one of them to a couple who were moving into their own home :)

My first Photo Frame!
A very close friend of mine had gifted me a hand made photo frame few years ago and was generous enough to explain me the process that went in making it.
Inspired, I too created one for a friend's son. Sharing the front view of my first attempt at making photo frame.
